Several team members of SERVPRO of Nixa/Branson attended the official groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, May 25th to celebrate the start of construction for Branson’s soon-to-be Fire Station #4 on Champagne Blvd.  This project has been in the making for nearly two decades. The Branson Fire Department was organized in 1912 and was staffed mostly by volunteers until 1993.

It’s an exciting time for Branson as was demonstrated with the bells and sirens officially marking the groundbreaking for construction. The new fire station located in southwest Branson is expected to greatly increase safety by reducing fire and emergency response times throughout Branson with additional manpower, equipment, and resources.  The new response time is expected to be 4 ½ minutes, and will add 12 more firefighters, and one new engine. With a budget of $5 million this project is funded by the half cent Public Safety Sales tax that residents passed in 2017.
